Here are ten questions concerning Sports and Fitness – interview with Freddie, dual study in fitness science & fitness economy at Prime Sports willich.

Is there a special event from your childhood related to sports?

A special memory I’ve got is about a 2nd “Bundesliga” Match back in 2005. My Soccerl Club associated with “Rot-Weiss essen” and so my teammates and me could walk besides the Pros into the Stadion.

What was the reason to do some sports?

So, both of my parents are teaching horse riding and through this I was up there since the very early years. Unlike my parents I didn’t find my passion there. At the age of 5 I started playing soccer and started to enjoy myself more and more on the soccer field rather than on a horse.

What´ s your favorite sports and why?

As you could probably tell by my previous answers, soccer is the sport for me. If I’m stepping on the field by myself or supporting my team doesn’t matter at all. The sport makes up the perfect balance for my everyday life. It’s soccer where I can rest my mind for a while, not worrying about the stress.

Where do you get your motivation from?

My motivation goes hand in hand with the believe that I can improve myself from day to day and that we should never stop the progress. Also without sport there would be something missing in my life.

What kind of fitness exercises do you like most?

I can’t really pick a specific exercise, but every one that challenges me and pushes me to the edge is the best.

How does your current training schedule look like?

At the time my training schedule is filled with soccer training 3 times a week and a championship game on most of the weekends. In between the trainings I like to go jogging from time to time. But still I’ve got more plans to train even more to improve & define my body in the best way possible ?.

How do you feed on?

To be honest with the start of a new chapter in my life – study- I wanted to turn some things another way, like my nutrition. I can’t say I don’t cheat from time to time but I’ve started a balanced nutrition with one or two exceptions ?.

  • – don’t let other influence your personal development negatively in any way!

What are your professional and sporting goals in the future?

My professional goals are to complete my dual study with success and to develop myself technical as well as personal in the best way possible. In terms of Sport I want improve myself in soccer in the division I’m playing in and also in points like fitness, physicality and technique.
