TEN questions concerning sports and fitness – interview with Anna Möhrke, apprentice at Prime Sports Oberkassel, dual study of Health Management
Is there a special event from your childhood related to sports?
Yes, indeed. It was my 5th birthday when my parents gave me the present I had desired so much – ballet classes.
What was the reason to do some sports?
As a child I already was very active. Due to regular swimming and ballet classes my joy to take exercise grew more and more.
What’s your favorite sports and why?
I love the variety of sports, therefore every kind of sports is interesting for me. Dancing is and will always be something special for me, besides that I favor the strength- and stamina training with which I can spend all my energy.
Where do you get your motivation from?
Sports is just a part of me. Without I couldn’t do. I’m attracted to it because you can see what your own body is able to do – and also because of the positive changes of the body.
What kind of fitness exercises do you like most?
I prefer freestyle exercises with my own body weight, but I also like to work with lightweights.
How does your current training schedule look like?
Three times a week I do some strength- and stamina training and four to five times a week I go jogging. Additionally I go regularly to my ballet classes.
How do you feed on?
Since three years I eat vegan food. First of all I pay attention to a well-balanced and healthy nutrition.

What are your professional and sporting goals in the future?
I’d like to finish my Bachelor degree for Health Management. Concerning sports I have the ambition to make as many experiences as possible and to improve.
What’s your personal motto?
Giving up is always an option, but never my choice! 🙂
